Greetings from the Mississauga Sailing Club.

The Mississauga Sailing Club (MSC) is pleased to announce that we will be hosting the 2007 Buccaneer 18 North American Sailing Championships. The regatta will occur July 16 – 20, 2007 preceded by Mississauga’s own Cross Border Open Design (CBOD) Regatta on July 14 - 15, 2007.   

Our club will be hosting competitors from across the United States and Canada. We expect 150 competitors and their families plus our membership and the public for a total of approximately 300 people volunteering, competing and/or viewing the competitions. There will be 2-4 races held every day for 7 days.

We would like to invite you to sponsor our Souvenir Program, an event or one of our races. Your contribution will provide exposure for your company and a wonderful experience for all participants, volunteers and interested parties.

MSC has been around since 1972 offering an ideal sailing location for dinghy sailors. We have a three level clubhouse, with a rooftop deck, a secure dry-sail compound and an outstanding view of Lakefront Promenade Park and Lake Ontario. MSC is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Mississauga Recreation and Parks.

MSC has over 100 members plus their families and we sponsor the Sea Cadet #12 Sailing Centre and Sea Scouts. The majority of our members are from Mississauga with some members coming from surrounding areas including Toronto, Oakville and Brampton.
