| The sheet bend is used to attach two similar diameter lines together. In cases of differing diameter, or when a more secure knot is required, consider the double sheet bend.

| Step by Step Instructions | |

Make a loop in one of the lines with the working part over the standing part |
 |
Thread the second line through the loop starting below the loop |
 |
Pass the end behind the standing part of the first line |
 |
Pass the end over and through the loop |
 |
Tighten and you're done |
